Currently when postfix logs a mail delivery to a log file, it logs the
username plus hostname, not the address that the mail was actually
destined for.
For example, we have a virtual domain "foobar.com" and a mail address
"somebody
foobar.com". We have a virtual map that maps this address to
account "user" on machine "local.machine".
Postfix logs the mail as being delivered to "user
local.machine" instead
of "somebody
foobar.com".
The problem is that I have a user who wants to receive a monthly list of
all e-mail going in and out of his domain. With the current mail log
format I would have to keep a reverse list of user to e-mail address
mappings so that I could know which log entry belogs to this domain.
Any way to fix this more easily?
