Hi there,
I took Bennets pop-before-smtp deamon and modified it a bit so it watches for
the floods going out from users on our domain. It blocks the per from field
(but only those that have anyuser
ourdomain). I am also thinking about adding
ability to block the incoming mail per to: field so that one mailbox doesn't
get mailbombed or something. What else ? time handling is terrible, I don't
have any moving time window, I just reset the count of messages each hour
(anybody want to help here ?). Take a look at the script and correct my errors.
It would be great if everybody that have any interest in such a thing would add
his/hers 2 cents to the matter so we all have something working and useable.
I am not a programmer and hope that there will be some folks that will help me
out with this (Bennet ? :) ).
So, what do you think ?
What modifications would you add to the script ?
Thanks in advance
Krzysztof Sierota
