Any time you address the mechanics, you also need to point out
the extreme lack of advisability of this kind of stupidity. So long
as they know it's a stupid idea, you can discuss mechanics all you
want.
But you can't give people a false impression that it's a good
idea (or at least not a bad one) by simply discussing mechanics
without discussing the fundamentally flawed nature of the concept
itself.
