In 2.2.x there are no multiple interfaces at all. You assign (ip add) some
address to a physical interface (eth0, eth1, whatever) and give it a
_label_. You could name it eth0:myfavoriteip and it'd work. No interfaces
are created that way - you just stack IPs on one interface (card)
