So, if I do
ip addr add dev eth0 local 208.184.5.54/32 label host54
Then will postfix use that IP for outgoing mail on
register.smallbizhost.net (which is that IP)?
(thereby keeping other hosts from giving the authentication warning because
it's coming from n2.bizserver.net[208.184.6.8] instead of
register.smallbizhost.net)
If I remember right, that's what the thread started out trying to "solve".
