I compiled postfix on a Sparc running Solaris 8.
Prior to install, i deleted both the sendmail packages, so that they would
not interfere.
The only change I made on sh.INSTALL.sh was to specify /usr/lib/sendmail
for the location of sendmail.
mail sent in or out is working perfectly.
Mail sent from the command line shows up as:
user
machine_name.domain.com
instead of:
user
domain.com
...in my main.cf file I have specified simply the domain name where
appropriate.
Any idea what could be causing this??
