I was just skimming this thread, when all of a sudden it started
looking like a claim that a mailbox whose name includes "." is
illegal. What's the legal alphabet for mailbox names under postfix?
This is of special interest, because I'd set up a web interface that
allowed only [a-z][a-z0-9]{1,7}, and users have been whining. So far
the bulk of the whines have been about increasing the upper length
limit, but I expect 'em to be asking for wonky characters soon, too.
