Subject: mail hub question

We've been struggling with a problem relaying for multiple domains
internally as well as externally through our postfix mail hub. I couldn't
find any solutions that have worked in the list archives or faq files. If
there is something I've missed, feel free to point me there.

We have 15 hosts internal to the mail hub that forward all mail to
the mail hub. These 15 hosts cannot mail to the domains listed in the
virtual file on the mail hub. However, externally, postfix is properly
accepting and sending mail for these domains. The odd piece is that mail
sent to addresses which are in the same domain as the mail hub works fine.

Let me use an example. Domain1, domain2, domain3, domain4 are
virtual, hostdomain is the real domain to which all servers belong.

Machines external to our environment mail to userdomain[1-4] and
hostdomain just fine. The internal machines can forward mail for relaying
to userhostdomain without a problem, but receive "user unknown" for
userdomain[1-4].

I can paste files if it'll help. I appreciate any help, as we've
been struggling with this for a week now.
