Hi,
I have a problem:
postfix is sending my email from the address
root
rolling.ip.pt
This is my home computer, I am the superuser; my machine is a
stand-alone home computer, which I connect to my ISP via a non-permanent
dial-up link. I called it "rolling".
As suggested in the docs, in /etc/postfix/main.cf I defined
myorigin=ip.pt
which is the correct domain of my email address (m.arriaga
ip.pt).
But how can I tell postfix to send my email under a different username
(m.arriaga) instead of "root" and drop the hostname ("rolling") from my
email address?
Thank you for any tip.
Cheers,
Manuel
PS: I am using Netscape to send this, because else my emails won't be
accepted by the list because it doesn't recognize my email address.
Manuel
