Subject: Virtual document doesn't explain well enough..
From: James (jamesfefn.org)

I have Postfix Snapshot 20000528 installed and working fine, so far,
on Mandrake 7.02. I now wish to give my virtual users their own
happy little email addresses with their own domain name following their
name.. example: kevinponyexpressdelivery.com

I've gone through the steps given on the virtual part:
Add a magical entry to the Postfix virtual maps for each Postfix
virtual domain:

/etc/postfix/virtual:
virtual.domain whatever

Well, what is the "whatever" part supposed to be? Not supposed to
*say*, but supposed to BE.. I mean, what is the function of
the "Whatever" part? I've edited that file to say:

ponyexpressdelivery.com pony

since I have a user named pony on my server (server name is
vivid-eye.com). Isn't that how it is supposed to be? If I try to
send a message to kevinponyexpressdelivery.com won't it go to
ponyvivid-eye.com?? It doesn't, I get this error return email:

----- The following addresses had permanent fatal errors -----
<kevinponyexpressdelivery.com>
    (reason: 554 <kevinponyexpressdelivery.com>: Recipient address
rejected: Relay access denied)

Thanks for any help.

James
