I installed Postfix from the Debian packaged source and it worked fine
right out of the box. Then, this problem crept in, rendering it useless:
<jcl
localhost.bellatlantic.net>: Name service error for domain
localhost.bellatlantic.net: Host not found
I know the problem is in the main.cf file, but I do not know how to
configure it correctly. Postfix is running on my desktop and is resposible
for sending mail from my machine to the Internet, and delivering mail to
users (always me) that is fetched by fetchmail. This is the step that
isn't working.. the logs show postfix trying to deliver mail to a host
(Bell Atlantic, my ISP) that it cannot deliver to.
I believe it should deliver the mail to jcl
localhost instead.
Any help with the way this should be represented in main.cf would be
appreciated. Thank you.
