It's LMTP-AUTH, the same as SMTP-AUTH. Though, I haven't had a
chance to play with it yet. Apparently, when the LMTP server is
contacted via Internet-domain sockets, LMTP-AUTH is required, which
makes sense.
Larry also posted on info-cyrus that Cyrus 2.X can be compiled with
libwrap, as another way to restrict access to the LMTP server, at
least for the time being.
