Hello,
I am have trouble with postfix and POP3. I am using Qpopper for a pop
server on my linux box. Everything works fine, with the exception of
sending mail via POP. For any recepient address other that a local user
or virtual domain being hosted and relay access denied error is generated:
Jun 5 09:21:26 mail postfix/smtpd[8831]: reject: RCPT from
unknown[208.235.172.118]: 554 <madcat15
hotmail.com>: Recipient address
rejected: Relay access denied; from=<dman
madcat.search123.com>
to=<madcat15
hotmail.com>
Yet sending mail from the command line or pine on the server works fine.
The relayhost and relay_domain configuration options are still set as the
defaults.
Here is the postconf -n output:
alias_database = hash:/etc/postfix/aliases alias_maps =
hash:/etc/postfix/aliases command_directory = /usr/sbin daemon_directory =
/usr/libexec/postfix debug_peer_level = 2
default_destination_concurrency_limit = 10
local_destination_concurrency_limit = 2 local_recipient_maps =
$alias_maps, unix:passwd.byname mail_owner = postfix mydestination =
$myhostname, localhost.$mydomain $mydomain myhostname = mail.search123.com
myorigin = $mydomain notify_classes = resource, software, bounce, policy,
delay, protocol queue_directory = /var/spool/postfix
virtual_maps = hash:/etc/postfix/virtual
Can anybody tell me what is happening?
All I want to be able to do is have
all users in a domain (foo.com, bar.net, etc) be able to send and receive
mail via pop, or apop.
Thanks,
~Dan
