I see that you are developing content filtering for postfix.
1)Do you know if it is part of one postfix rpm distribution ?
2)Does the content filtering allow to remove attachment based on their mime
type or to extract the attachment from the e-mail and send it to a specified
address ?
I would like to have a list of authorised attachment mime type, that will be
authorised to pass through postfix, while unauthorised attachments will get
removed from the mail message and sent to a particular address. The user
will get a message like:
Your e-mail contained an unauthorised attachment type, the attachment has
been extracted and sent to the postmaster of this site and can be retrieved
from him.
Off course the postmaster should be able to forward any attachment to
anybody...
The postmaster will act as a clearing house and will be responsible to
ensure that the attachment does not contain virus, harmful code,
confidential information,...
Cheers.
