        It doesn't work when you've got IMAP doing multiple simultaneous
accesses to the same "mailbox". You're back to needing locking,
because messages will be moved from one folder to another, created,
deleted, etc... and you need to make sure that no two processes try
to do mutually exclusive operations to the same message at the same
time.
