I've worked with software and hardware engineers and designers a goodly
portion of my professional career. I am not trying to be patronizing
when I say that, IME, talented people generally come with strong
opinions. And they're generally not shy of letting anybody and
everybody know just what those opinions are! (Frequently with a fine
disregard for tact.) Not that I'm trying to excuse rude behaviour: but
it seems to "come with the territory", so get used to it.
Wanna have some real fun? Try *managing* a software design team some
time :-). Heh heh heh. Been there. Done that. Will never even
*contemplate* trying it again.
