Japanese subjects are supposed to be encoded into something
like base64.

with postfix since it was vmailer and a relatively
private beta. So I rather think it works.
Using a japanese patched version of mutt 0.9x something.
I would upgrade but they have developed a bad case of
feeping creaturism and a complete inability to fold the
J support into the mainstream. (Might just be me though.)
