Subject: new ldap user and virtual domains question
From: John Payne (johnsackheads.org)

OK... I'm fundamentally not getting something.

I have a user in LDAP:

dn: cn=visa_systech-global_com, dc=network-hosting, dc=net
cn: visa_systech-global_com
objectclass: person
objectclass: uid
objectclass: organizationalPerson
objectclass: top
mail: visasystech-global.com
maildrop: visa_systech-global_com
uid: visa_systech-global_com

In main.cf: I have:

alias_maps = hash:/etc/aliases, ldap:ldapaliases

ldapaliases_search_base = dc=network-hosting, dc=net
ldapaliases_query_filter = (mail=%s)

fallback_transport = cyrus

systech-global.com is in $mydestination.

visa_systech-global_com is a valid cyrus maildrop.

I think it should be a virtual domain, but
a) I thought the LDAP lookup would suffice
b) I've used virtual for barneysomedomain to fredsomewhereelse and mydomain to wilma
   but I can't figure out how to do virtual for the LDAP lookup.

I'd also like to have the list of domains to come from LDAP, but again, I'm
not sure how to do that (and its less important than getting the basic thing
running)
