Subject: Problem with postfix config-file access as hash-tables

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----

Greetings,

I still am plagued by the problem that I would like to keep certain
configuration parameters like mynetworks and relay_domains in the
form of a plain file converted to a hash table with postmap. In the
main.cf file there are entries like

mynetworks = hash:/etc/postfix/mynetworks
relay_domains = hash:/etc/postfix/relay_domains

postmap nicely creates the .db file without errors, so I think this
really should create a db file *WITH* entries.

The problem I now have is the following:
it doesn't work with hash:/etc/postfix/<file>!

I have to keep these entries (which are in the plaintext files)
in main.cf itself for it to work at all.

drwxr-xr-x 3 root root 4096 Jul 3 13:20 ./
drwxr-xr-x 34 root root 4096 Jul 3 13:00 ../
- -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 79 Jun 27 01:06 relay_domains
- -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 8192 Jun 27 01:07 relay_domains.db

permissions aren't the problem I hope, since it is world-readable...

What am I missing???
