MTA job" but thinking more about it, Postfix eases this kind of job.

It would be great to have any "guessable" date format to work. For
example, tuesdayreminder.mydomain would resent the mail next
tuesday. Or 2000-09-01reminder.mydomain on September 1st. The
person to send it to is the sender of the message here, and could be
changed by sending the mail to
2000-09-01+otherlocalaccountreminder.mydomain.

You can define a new transport for reminder.mydomain.com to call
your own program (that does all the job). And you can use Postfix
access rules to restrict access to reminder.mydomain as you like.
