Subject: Benchmarking Command sequence

Ok, today we got AntiVir MailGate for evaluation, and according to what my
co-worker said this thing works exactly like the postfix/amavis-perl/AVP setup.

So now I'd like to do a benchmark of the two systems against each other.

Basically I want to do this:

% smtp-source -l 10000 -m 100 -f nulllocalhost -t nulllocalhost localhost
% smtp-source -l 1000 -m 1000 -f nulllocalhost -t nulllocalhost localhost
% smtp-source -l 100 -m 10000 -f nulllocalhost -t nulllocalhost localhost

But how can I see when the system has finished sending out the last message?
If I simply use "time ..." I just see how much time smtp-source consumed.

Do I have I to rely on the logs?
