My apologies, I did not mean it "crashes" per se, but it does stop
functioning in a nice manner.
It is true that postfix is running, and will accept incoming connections,
just it can not do anything with them, and the final crash occurs when the
system fills up (which is an OS issue).
Please note that I did not say it crashes, just it stops working, which
was not quite correct. I should have said "Postfix becomes unable to
process the queue or accept new emails, while still accpeting incoming
connections".
Does this configuration parameter shut off the incoming smtp connections?
Or does it issue a 4.x.x code to the sender ?
BTW-> For what it is worth, so far we have been blown away with the
stability and speed of Postifx ,a dn use it in over 200 servers to
deliver 200K emails/hr (:
