My results are that it's between 15x (100 messages of 1000 bytes) and 2.3x
(500 messages of 500k size) faster than postfix/amavis-perl/AVP daemon.

The process creation overhead really slows Amavis down :(

Tomorrow I'll give MaCoFiDa a try -- comments?
