   Someone recently explained how to do it, search the list archive. You'll
find it somewhere between the linuxconf flames.

   Linuxconf is usually the first thing (even before sendmail) I uninstall
after installing RedHat Linux. This is because I once tried to correct the
timezone on a freshly installed system using linuxconf because I didn't
know this was done by correcting /etc/localtime. Linuxconf failed to
correct the timezone, but did screw up other things I didn't ask it to
change.
