Woops, unfortunately not... At least on RedHat systems. I just never
installed sendmail (I installed "by hand" using just rpm and newly-formatted
disk, not using installer, and sendmail was not installed by me (it is
installed automatically by redhat's installer if I use it)), and even with
this, linuxconf wants to create /var/spool/mqueue and chmod sendmail each
time someone uses it... Even if I disable sendmail "plugin" in linuxconf,
it anyway does this bad thing. BTW, I was just lazy to look where and why
it wants the sendmail to be setuid root, but the answer was somewhere on
this list.

Probably this item should be in the FAQ -- too many people wanted to know
this... :(
