FWIW, FreeBSD also supports ipfilter - I am using it right now. :)

I'm also with a firewall mailing list now. I posted a question there before
about choosing between the 3 free *BSDs and they gave me openbsd. They said
that codes are heavily scrutinized before they view it for public
consumption. They also said that the first main objective of the openbsd
programmers is security, and also the last. :-)

As for my own say, I was enraptured by its stateful packet inspection,
   ipfilter.

So for now, I would like to install postfix+amavis+sophos which I'm
currently running under Linux. It works like a charm. It is a charm. :-)
Right Lars! I'm using postfix as a relay server to my internal exchange
servers (yukk!). I still don't have plans of moving my relay server to
openbsd since I'm still young with the administration. I have a running
server here and would like to experiment on it.

   Thanks.
