Subject: host alias problem

I'm having a hard time getting postfix to recognize a host alias for
receiving mail.

I currently have a FreeBSD machine running sendmail and majordomo. I'm
trying to move my lists to a new faster FreeBSD server running postfix and
Mailman. The machine's real name is jig.ordway.org but we use
lists.ordway.org as the address for all the maillist stuff.

Under sendmail the following DNS entries and sendmail.cf options work as we
want:

jig IN A 209.98.93.103
                IN MX 0 jig.ordway.org.
                IN MX 200 mail.visi.com.
                IN MX 400 mail.dimensional.com.
lists IN MX 0 jig.ordway.org.
                IN MX 200 mail.visi.com.
                IN MX 400 mail.dimensional.com.

Cwlocalhost
Cwlists.ordway.org

With postfix, I've tried leaving the DNS the same and using
mydestination = $myhostname, localhost.$mydomain, lists.$mydomain

I've also tried changing the DNS in several ways: using a CNAME only, adding
a CNAME to the above, etc.

All of the above produce the same result from mail sent to
test-requestlists.ordway.org:

<test-requestlists.ordway.org>: mail for lists.ordway.org loops back to
myself

Any pointers anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated. I read a
similar thread last week but none of the suggested answers solved my
problem.

Thanks
