Meanwhile the CDE mailer chearfully eliminates the Status lines and
joins up the headers and tells me :-
X-BadHeader: plain; charset="iso-8859-1"
Looking at the Berkeley version it appears that the "plain;" header
is not a header at all, as there is a blank line before it. Does
anyone know what this really looks like when it is received, and is
it easy to filter it out? I also wonder what the To: field was before we
fully qualified it!
