Wietse,

It seems that in pl08 the content filtering is done by body_checks which
behave like header_checks. It would be easier if both use the same syntax in
the filter file...

Could you ensure that you have an ERROR that enhance the REJECT by giving a
reason of the REJECT during the session depending of the regexp.

Are there any other content filtering hooks that I'm not aware despite
body_checks.

A REJECT match in the header checks causes the Postfix SMTP SERVER
to reject the mail. In other words, Postfix does NOT receive the
mail, nor does Postfix send a message to the sender.

If is up to the mail CLIENT software to inform the sender of the
problem.

Mail attachments are not handled by the header checks. For content
filtering, use the Postfix content filtering hooks.
