Subject: master_wakeup_timer_event syslog messages

I'm having some problems setting up Postfix on a Solaris 2.8 machine.
Everything builds cleanly and the INSTALL.sh scripts seems to put
everything into the proper place, but I am getting loads of error
messages in syslog like so:

<snip>

Oct 31 16:08:01 foobar.mydomain.edu postfix/qmgr[20224]: [ID 947731
mail.warning] warning: connect to transport local: No such file or
directory
Oct 31 11:08:10 foobar.mydomain.edu postfix/master[581]: [ID 947731
mail.warning] warning: master_wakeup_timer_event: service
public/pickup: No such file or directory
Oct 31 11:08:58 foobar.mydomain.edu postfix/master[581]: [ID 947731
mail.warning] warning: master_wakeup_timer_event: service public/qmgr:
No such file or directory

<snip>

The messages come in ~ 1 minute intervals. In looking at master.cf:

pickup fifo n n - 60 1 pickup

The wakeup on pickup is set to 60 seconds which matches the timing of
the syslog messages. I am guessing that it is the culprit.

My my_queue_directory is set correctly and I am not attempting to do
any chroot() tricks, so I don't understand which files the daemons
might be looking for. If only the syslog entries included the file
names. :(

Thanks.
