You need to create MX records for
civil.cet.ac.in
and
ece.cet.ac.in
that BOTH point to the single machine. Don't forget to add
civil.cet.ac.in and ece.cet.ac.in to virtual_maps
In the future, all you need to do is to set up a new mailserver that
handles, e.g. civil.cet.ac.in and change the MX accordingly.
