The Postfix client sends <CR> unmodified.
The Postfix SMTP client sends <LF> as <CR><LF>.
The Postfix SMTP server receives <CR><LF> as <LF>.
So, text containing <CR><LF> is sent as <CR> followed by <CR><LF>.
