I failed to compile Postfix [snapshot-20001212]
with MySQL [3.23.28-gamma] support :
[src/error]
gcc -Wmissing-prototypes -Wformat -DHAS_MYSQL -I/usr/include/mysql -g -O -I.
-I../../include -DLINUX2 -o error error.o ../../lib/libmaster.a ../../lib/libglobal
.a ../../lib/libutil.a /usr/lib/mysql/libmysqlclient.a -lm -ldb -lnsl -lresolv
/usr/lib/mysql/libmysqlclient.a(my_compress.o): In function `my_uncompress':
my_compress.o(.text+0x96): undefined reference to `uncompress'
/usr/lib/mysql/libmysqlclient.a(my_compress.o): In function
`my_compress_alloc':my_compress.o(.text+0x129): undefined reference to `compress'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [error] Error 1
The compilation was OK with MySQL 3.22.32.
Is Postfix supposed to work with MySQL 3.23 (3.23.28-gamma is
currently the recommended MySQL version) ? I couldn't find
anything about version requirements in the MYSQL_README file...
Thanks by advance
Sébastien
