Hi everybody, and thanks those who kindly gave me suggestions.
Unfortunately, I might have been a bit unclear in posing my question. Let me
rephrase it once more, and provide the solution I've found, for the benefit
of posterity.
Question: As Mandrake ver >= 7.1 (specifically, ver = 7.2) allows defining
several system profiles, to be chosen at bootstrap time, and to associate a
different configuration for several processes for each of them, I wondered
whether it could be possible to include postfix configuration in the
linuxconf profile manager. In this way, virtual addressing and masquerading
(etc) would follow the system's identity, ISP definition etc, which is
especially useful when working with Linux on a laptop.
Problem: linuxconf-1.21r5-5mdk does not allow for such a feature.
Solution: (obvious) upgrade linuxconf to 1.23r2-1 ! (RPMs available at
http://www.solucorp.qc.ca/linuxconf ).
Best regards,
Giuseppe.
