You really should have a look at the maillog file, because Postfix
screams loud if there is a problem.

The files in the bounce subdirectory contain the reasons why mail
could not be delivered. Presently, these are plain text files of
    the form:

<recipient>: text why mail delivery failed

The files have the same name as the message queue file (in the
    incoming, active or deferred subdirectory).

What caused the mail to bounce is written in those files.

Why the mail sits there: see the maillog file.
