    I recently installed Postfix {mail_version = Snapshot-20001217} on a RedHat
6.2 machine using the 2.2.16 kernel.
I have two other equal machines currently running sendmail. These machines
are used solely to deliver messages to
our list of 300,000 or so customers several times p/day. After toying with
the configuration basics, and getting it
up and running - it's showing extremely poor performance (about half that of
sendmail, which from what I've heard
is very wrong). Now I'm searching for any configuration options I may of
    overlooked that would improve performance.
This is the only vital service on this machine, so I'm not concerned about
making it eat resources. Any suggestions?
