My qmgr daemon is leaking memory, after approximatively one week (aound
~60000 messages/day) it takes around 40Mb.
. I was running postfix snapshot 20001012 + openLDAP 2.06 without visible
. I am now running Postfix-20010228-pl01 with opendlap 2.07 librairies,
(see note ¹) and it seems that leak occurs only on servers configured
with ldap lookups.
This is not a real big problem, i can manage to do "postfix reload" once a
week, but i'm curious to known if somebody can confirm this?
How can i debug this ?
ldapvirtual_server_host = localhost
ldapvirtual_search_base = O=Teaser
ldapvirtual_query_filter = (|(uid=%s)(teasermailacceptinggeneralid=%s))
ldapvirtual_result_attribute = mail
ldapvirtual_bind = no
ldapvirtual_cache = no
ldapvirtual_timeout = 50
virtual_maps = hash:$config_directory/virtual
With this combination, i a am forced to use ldap_cache=no, otherwise i
have timeout any time a user is found in ldap cache (it seems a bug
in OpenLDAP 2.07 libraries - ldap_search_st -, not in postfix code).
