I run a tiny dial-up LAN with a dedicated linux server serving also as a
mailserver. Turned to postfix and I must say I am delighted by the
configuration file syntax - compared to sendmail.
The dial-up configuration for postfix is easy, however I would like the
server to deliver immediatelly when the ppp0 interface is up and defer the
transport when it is down. Is there some easy way of achieving this apart
from inserting an infinite loop running an /usr/sbin/sendmail -q into
/etc/ppp/ip-up.local every few minutes?
Thank you very much.
