I just recently set up postfix for the first time. I did not have any
other smtp mailers working on my system, so it's a completely clean
install.I've been slugging away at the configuration files and the
howto, but I think I need some direction in terms that one who has never
set up a mail server might understand. (This is where the newbie in me
rises to the surface... happens with every new program I run.)(?Maybe I
should look at that?)
I am running a webserver with 5 different websites, each owned by a
different client. All sites are set up as NameVirtualHosts in the apache
configuration. Very simply, I would like to give each client their
own usermail
clientdomain.com capability, but know not what I am doing.
I understand that I will have to create some files to do this.
?- What are the file_names and where do I put them?
?- What is the content of the files?
?- How do I add new user for domain 1 without adding this user for
domain 2?
?- And finally, where do I locate the username & password table
that will authorize these users access only to the mail system?
TIA
