Hi,
I looked through the docs and faq, and I didn't see this (maybe I
missed it?).
I'm having a problem with POP and IMAP users on the local LAN. When
they check their mail it takes 1-2 minutes on first connect of the day
to get their mail. Usually, after the first connect it is ok, unless
they are idle over half an hour or so.
This doesn't seem to be a problem for remote users (people with real,
resolvable IPs). I'm guessing it is some sort of authentication reverse
lookup problem, but it's not something I can find, and it's not a
failure, it's just a long delay.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Rob C.
