I want to install a system to authenticate via pop before sending mail

Int he postfix page there are links to "pop before smtp", "whoson" and
"drac"

which one would be better and why?

I've already got a box with sendmail compiled with drac support which I've
been usin for some time, and works fine, but I'd like to know if maybe the
others may be better...
