I suspect it will re-appear in RH 8. The bug I filed about its
disappearance is marked deferred, not closed, and was seconded by a whole
posse of RH employees ;-). Not to mention that RH uses postfix internally,
so if they want to eat their own dogfood....
The problem, as far as I can tell, is just that they don't have a totally
clean architecture in place (in spite of RPM ;-) to support different
packages which provide the same functionality, and now that powertools got
killed halfway through the 7.2 beta they don't have time to debug exactly
which RPMs they've shipped which depend explicitly on sendmail, rather than
on mta.
