Here's the way i would do it
The postfix virtual file:
-------------
# domain 1
domain1.com enabled
bob
domain1.com <mailto:bob
domain1.com> bob
# domain2
domain2.com enabled
foo
domain2.com <mailto:foo
domain2.com> foo
----------------
then you remove domain1.com and domain2.com from your main.conf
"mydestination" and the system will use the virtual entries to decide what
gets delivered and what does not.
(don't forget you need to run 'postmap')
If you have lots of domains you'll end up creating lots of users and
mailboxes. Another option is to have local mailboxes for users without
giving them a "real" system username. That requires a pop server which can
handle that kind of setup, but there are a few :)

Hi,
I've look at the archives of this mailing list, but I still can't figure out
how to do this.
I collect mail for multiple domains, at the moment I'm doing it with just
Virtual domains in /usr/local/etc/postfix/virtual. This is how I want it to
work
Mail sent to:
bob
domain1.com <mailto:bob
domain1.com> Gets delivered to localuser bob
foo
domain2.com <mailto:foo
domain2.com> Gets delivered to local user foo
bob
domain2.com <mailto:bob
domain2.com> Gets rejected, no such user
Likewise,
foo
domain1.com <mailto:foo
domain1.com> Gets rejected, no such user
At the moment, I'm using virtual domains, but foo
domain1.com
<mailto:foo
domain1.com> doesn't get
rejected because foo is a local user (assuming domain1.com is in
mydestination)
How can I make it work as described above?
Cheers
