Hi,

I installed Amavis on my mail servers (2 servers) which is Postfix (you guess):

I added this line into master.cf

vscan unix - n n - 10 pipe user=vscan
argv=/usr/sbin/amavis ${sender} ${recipient}
localhost:10025 inet n - n - - smtpd -o content_filter=

And in main.cf :

content_filter = vscan:

I suppose that postfix will listen onto 10025 in addition to the 25.

On the first server, it works good.

But on the second, first, messages don't filter trough the port 10025. And
when i do a telnet 127.0.0.1 10025 i don't have any banner but something is
listening on the 10025 port.

When i watch my logs i have this :

Sep 26 20:11:04 xxxx postfix/smtpd[13652]: fatal: invalid option: ?
Sep 26 20:11:05 xxxx postfix/master[9038]: warning: process
/usr/lib/postfix/smtpd pid 13652 exit status 1
Sep 26 20:11:05 xxxx postfix/master[9038]: warning: /usr/lib/postfix/smtpd:
bad command startup -- throttling
