What level of cyrus-sasl do you have installed? This is workig fine for
me, on a Roswell system, which is the beta for Redhat 7.2. If you have the
same level of cyrus-sasl installed, I can't guess, but if you are
downlevel, maybe you should look for an update for cyrus-sasl, maybe on
rawhide.

For that matter, I have it working chrooted.
