Hello, I'm rather new to postfix, so bear with me..

What I've got is a small machine with a recent postfix, mutt, and
fetchmail, and I want to use it for collecting my mail, to replace
Netscape on a Win98 box. The setup would probably work if it was not for
my intermittent ppp link and multiple ISP accounts.

The mail server is on the local network, connected via NAT to the net
through a router that could be connected to different ISPs. One of these
ISPs does not allow connections on port 25 other than to their own mail
server, so trying to send mail using my server does not work, since
postfix tries to connect to the mailserver running on the domain of the
recipient (in the case of joefoo.com, I mean postfix tries to connect
to foo.com on port 25, but would fail on this ISP since foo.com is not
their mail server). The other ISPs allow these connections, but I'm
thinking it would be easier to just have postfix hand my mail off to
another server, rather than sending the mail itself.

So, is there any way to get around an ISP who won't allow connections to
port 25 to all but one (their own) server? How could I have postfix hand
my mail off to their server in the case that I'm using that particular
ISP, but send the mail in the case that I'm on another ISP, if the mail
server is not able to detect which ISP it's connected to and if it is on
an invalid internet IP (192.168.1.X) ?

(Hopefully I've explained myself well enough. If not, just say so.)

    Thanks.
