Well, I live in Australian and we have flying foxes all over the place,,

harmless, but potentially annoying animals, they are a real pest for
anyone trying to grow certain fruit, (like Mangos) my father owns a
mango plantation and they eat everything in site..

a real pain, perfect analogy for sendmail if you ask me..

we have them in plague proportions in some areas of australia..
I believe they are thinking of culling them, like we have to do with
Kangaroos (ie kill a certain number of them each year to keep the numbers
    down.)

    rgds
