Attached are two patches that add ident lookups to smtpd, one patch for
snapshot-20011127, and one for snapshot-20011127+pfixtls-0.7.13c .

To enable, add -DUSE_IDENT to your CCARGS when running "make makefiles" .
You can also add -DIDENT_TIMEOUT=XX if you'd like. The default timeout
is currently 10 seconds, which is probably a bit high.

I'm using the vstream abstraction to talk to the ident port, but looking
over the code, I'm not 100% sure that vstream_fprintf uses the timeout
code. If not, I'll use sprintf+vstream_fwrite instead.

This patch has been successfully tested on Solaris 8, FreeBSD 4.4, and
RH Linux 7.0 .

If you wish to enable this, please have a look at the code before doing
so and let me know of any obvious (or non-obvious) problems you find.
