Panix's Postfix does not insert a Delivered-To header except when
forwarding messages.
This is to prevent the case where a message is delivered to a
mailing list moderator, approved, sent on to the list, and then
redelivered to the moderator, who's also on the list, and bounced
due to a forwarding loop.
Is this a valid concern?
I thought of a workaround: have the moderator's moderation address
differ from their address that's on the list. But that is tricky to
implement, so I'd rather find a solution that's exclusively within the
mail server, if indeed the problem is real.
I want to restore the prepend_delivered_header variable to the
default, to preserve extension information in the case where a
user has been BCC'd. I just need to clear this hurdle first.
