I don't know what's going on - mostly because you supply no information
at all really!
'hugo' -> 'hubo' as well? is that a typo? bizarre.
At least some logs,debug etc. e.g.
How do you know they're rewritten? Rewritten by the postfix box? or the
email gateway? - logs
postconf -n
any relevant maps would be useful as well.
